Prashant Samlal

Prashant Samlal (1996) is a Dutch jazz guitarist, composer, and artist based in Amsterdam. He graduated with honors from the HKU Conservatory in Utrecht in 2018 and won the national Conservatory Talent Award. Since then, he has been active as a bandleader and sideman within the young generation of Dutch musicians.

He has performed at various renowned venues and festivals in the Netherlands and abroad, and was featured on VPRO Vrije Geluiden. Prashant has released several albums and EPs, including with his project ATMA, and continues to develop his own artistic voice on the guitar.

With his experience as a performer, composer, and bandleader, Prashant brings both technical depth and musical vision to his guitar lessons.
